Process at a glance

From application to closing, we keep every stage of the mortgage process as straightforward as possible. And we're there for you from the start as you complete each part — always putting you first.

Discovery

First, a Mortgage Loan Advisor (MLA) will visit with you to find the right loan for your needs. After an initial conversation, they can give you an indication of what your mortgage rate might be and provide payment scenarios. They'll discuss your goals, help you make an informed decision and stay in contact with you throughout the process.

Application

Once you've spoken to an MLA and are ready to apply, we will send you a personalized link to start your application online. You can do this from the convenience of your mobile device or desktop. The process is safe and secure, and your MLA will be there with you to answer any questions along the way.

Processing

Once you submit your application, your MLA will introduce you to your Processor, who will be in continuous contact with you during this step of the process.

Underwriting

After your loan is processed, our underwriters will review, verify and make a decision on your loan application. They may also request additional documents to be as thorough as possible.

Closing/Funding

Once you near the end of the process, you will be introduced to a closer who will assist in scheduling your closing. They will be happy to review your closing documents to ensure you understand all of the documents you will be signing on closing day and answer any questions you may have.

Servicing

With the Frost App and Frost Online Banking, you can view your principal balance, make payments, view a personalized mortgage dashboard and more. Our team is also a phone call away at (800) 513-7678 to answer your questions 24/7.
